All the superstar QBs get special treatment by the refs at times. They are the cash cow for the NFL. I didn’t notice Rodgers getting any special treatment during the Bears game. The Bears O just sucked and the play calling was atrocious. If I remember correctly Allen Robinson bailed Mitch out 2-3 times on great catches with the DB in his face or it could have looked worse.
I agree Rodgers didn't benefit from any special treatment from the ref.
That's kind of been my point about Trubisky. He often times forced to make contested throws because the DBs were playing our wideouts tight. Not too many throws to guys with cushions.
Everybody on offense sucked. Nagy got outcoached and couldn't make halftime adjustments. Trubisky lost his cool. The O-line couldn't handle a non-vanailla pass rush. Receivers got little separation. Running backs, weren't given many chances, but no one ripped off a 10 yard run. TEs...do we have TEs?
