Guys

The bears are just lowering their second round draft pick next year.

That is all.

Pack 30 bears 16.

otto,I'm not a packer hater like many here. I'm indifferent to their success, but, what I will say is,we have everything to play for and the Pack doesn't. I believe we win cuz we have to and we're playing more with a purpose. Still a long shot to get in the playoffs as GB and Minny have to lose two out of their last three games, but,if Chicago beats them then they need to win both the remaining games and anything is possible. Thank goodness coaches are finally playing to Trubisky's strength. Running the ball is the wildcard. Why they got away from it at the beginning of the season is beyond me.

A thing of beauty. Where's it been all year?

If the Bears continue playing like they have lately, you never know. I never liked playing for a draft pick. Pay to win no matter and let the chips fall where they may..

This is the time of year when you can't help but look back at some of the losses. The Raiders, chargers, Philly... All winnable games.. Just two of those would put us in a whole different situation..

The Packers (9-3) only need to lose against the Bears.  We need them to beat the Vikings.  Their other games make no difference to the Bears since the Packers are likely the division winner.  The Vikings and Rams are the two teams the Bears need to lose while the Bears keep winning to get the last wild card spot.

Bears (7-6) have Packers, Chiefs and Vikings left.  A tall order to win all three but that is what it will likely take (10-6).  Although if everything fell right they might get in at 9-7.  The Vikings game is a must win no matter what.

Vikings (8-4) have  Lions, Chargers, Packers and Bears.  They could definitely drop one maybe two games besides the Bears game.  If they drop two the Bears might even lose one game and still get in but have to beat the Vikings.

If the Bears end up with the same record as the Vikings the Bears would have the tie breaker since they already beat them once.

Rams (7-5) have Seahawks, Cowboys, 49ers and Cardinals.  They could easily drop two games still or even three.

They said that Montgomery was hurt near the end of the game.  Any news on what it was.

I would love to see him behind a decent OL.  To me he looks like the best Bear running back since Walter Payton.

Neil Anderson and Matt Forte were pretty damn good.  I like Montgomery but hard to say he is looking better than those two yet.

I liked Neal Anderson (not so much Forte) but neither of them had the ability to move a pile of tacklers the way Montgomery.  Roland Harper did, but he didn't play after Payton.

Of course, the mark of a truly great running back includes the ability to perform over a long career.  That is why I believe that Gale Sayers, the best running back I have ever seen, did not last long enough to be considered truly great.

Forte has always been very underrated on these boards.

He was a stud.
