So, as we all know, the Oline is the major problem. They need two new tackles and a guard,IMO. Did Mack play today? 🙄

Mitch was really inaccurate today, especially on what looked like easy throws.  He had more than a few that were in a clean pocket that he threw at the receivers feet or over their head.  GB probably left 2 or 3 interceptions on the field.

Mitch was subpar today.  Oline was awful.  Bears secondary had their worst game of the year.  Packers WRs actually let them off the hook with a few timely drops.

Mitch kind of called out Nagy in the post game presser.

I agree.  I think today's play calling looked more like it did during the losing streak then it did during the past 4-5 games.

The Packers use a ton of DB's.  We still couldn't run against them.  We either need a new O-line or a new blocking scheme because what we have now is not working.  Not even a little bit.

Glad to see Otto still around. Gotta have a village idiot in the land of idiots after all. The fact that he posted at all is proof he was scared :D

Well, the Bears did not disappoint (or rather, succeeded in disappointing). Par the normal for this franchise.....

Haven't watched the game in detail yet, but from someone not in the local market and seeing things though NFL redzone. It looked like Nagy forgot something.

The Bears have 2 x 100 yard recievers in a game (a rarity if there was one) but no running game ? I didn't see Trubisky running at all (again it was Redzone which is the only place where they show Bears bad plays almost exclusively it seems. Seen more failed plays from them than any other team in the NFL).

Nagy takes an aggressive stands all game (all those poor 4th down tries) then goes for the **** FG? WTF

There is playing aggressive and just playing stupid. Nagy chose the latter. Just like with KC in the playoffs when he as OC....

I fear this team is just good enough to never be good enough....

Down on the Bears atm. Haven't seen the whole game yet but was not supprised by the outcome. If we have not realized it already, we are in football purgatory.....

1. thought replay showed Patterson in bounds on that catch at the Pack 2 yd line.

2. on the interference with catching the punt Patterson clearly hit him after he caught ball - but I don't know the rule. Do you have to give the receiver a certain space?

3. tackling by DBs bad.

4. Play calling bad. OL bad. Mitch needs a running game, but the OL can't provide it.

5. where the hell is Mack?

Patterson was in bounds, this is a fail on the part of Nagy. There was no fair catch called, therefore there was no foul against Patterson, but it's the Packers we were playing.
The biggest difference, other than the horrid Oline play all season, from this year to last is very little pass rush. Mack has completely disappeared. Going forward, is he worth all they're paying him? I would have to say no at this point.....

I believe all the rule states is that you can’t impede the return guy’s ability to catch the punt.

The ball was clearly in his hands when contact was made.

Patterson couldn’t have timed it better. It was perfect.

The left side of Patterson’s left foot was in the white which is why he was called out.
On the return you have to give the returner 3 feet but I see plays where returners don’t seem to have that much space with no penalty called.

Rarely does a team get two HOF QB's in a row.  I don't know of any to get three in a row.

Niners had Montana then Young.  I can't really think of any others besides Favre and Rodgers.

On the return you have to give the returner 3 feet but I see plays where returners don’t seem to have that much space with no penalty called.

Pretty sure that is a rule in college not the NFL.  I see NFL players running right up to the punt returner all the time.  Also he did not signal fair catch.

They showed an angle that clearly showed a line of green between his foot and the sidelines.  All water under the bridge now.  It is just the typical treatment by the refs that every team gets when they play the Packers.  Can't wait until Rodgers retires so they can go back to sucking for the next 20 years plus.
