Surprised PJ Stumbler was cut. It shows a willingness to move on from mistakes even when you've got 2 mil in sunk cost. Now watch them put Peterman as 2nd and try to stash Bagent on the PS. One step forward, two steps back.....

Now if they can only magically heal the crippled offensive line.....

Yes thats normal Bears. It will be interesting if they reverse other mistakes by Tuesday's 53man roster

I read somewhere that Borom rated as the #1 OLman this preseason, for what that’s worth.

So did Foreman...and of course Sewell.  Eberflus is so tight-lipped on injuries.

Last year Patrick hurts his hand playing center - goes on IR.  This year Whitehair the same - has to move to LG.  Now Kramer injures his hand.  Maybe Bears centers need to practice more left handed snaps in practice and PS games.

A very desirable trait in an NFL head coach.

I guess.  I was surprised that he came out with the Jenkins info on the calf strains.  Maybe he's just tight lipped on the day to day guys.

We have no idea what Patrick and Davis are out for - at least I don't.   And Brisker...   And recently Jackson...  And Walker...  And Claypool...  And Blackwell...

This opening game worries me.

Seems like half the team missed training camp with injuries and are putting on pads for the first time.

There hasn’t been much practice to get their play synchronized while the Packers have played together the last couple of years.  The DL didn’t show much ability to stop the run and Green Bay has a good run game and will try to keep it out of Loves hands as much as possible.

Fields essentially has 4 new receivers and starting OL lineup is just being decided this week.

I think they’ll be better in 4-5 weeks but I’m not confident in a quick start.

Packers on paper have the advantage on most of the matchups going into this game, particularly Bears O-line vs Packers D-line and Bears D-line vs Packers O-line.  I'm not as worried about the Bears O-line except that Davis and Wright have never played in a game together.  But only Jones and Whitehair played next to each other... last year

If Fields can have a monster day the Bears can win this game.

It’s not a surprise if the Bears win.

Love has played very little and only has 83 passes.  It’s possible the Bears back 7 can confuse him with coverages.
There are rumors out of Green Bay he doesn’t process information well.  Still they have a lot of speed at receiver and tight end and may have success with easy routes.

If the Bears protect Fields and stop the run, they win.

Charlie Brown (the fans) waiting to kick the ball being held by Lucy (the Bears). If the pass rush is as invisible as last year and the DC does not adjust and get some, it will be same old, same old for Bears v Packers......

It would be nice if the refs didnt decide this game, you know since Rogers is gone now.  Just saying.

It does seem the Bears do not get many calls with the refs at home. I think I read the last few years they've had some of the most apology letters from officiating front office on blown calls......
