Winning tomorrow is huge.  It forces probably the two best teams in the NL to play each other in a single-elimination game (if the Rockies win too).

A one-game playoff in LA would not be a good position.
In a one game playoff it doesn't matter if the game is at Wrigley, the moon, or hell.  You gotta win it.

And remember that scrub team that the Reds put on the field against us that final game?  Kicked our ass.

If a one game playoff game were played in hell, wouldn't the Mets automatically have the home team advantage?

No, the Cardinals would.  Satan has all the umpires.
