QB Jake Haener of Fresno State has caught my eye. I think he leads the nation in passing yards. Really fun to watch.

 B.S.

We need to be looking forward to draft picks in 2019. With our draft status there's no way we go wrong.

The 2nd pick is not a done deal.   5 games left - a lot can happen especially if Fields is playing.

Bears have a tough schedule and it gets tougher with Bills, Eagles and Vikings still left to play.   That will not help with tie breakers.

We have the second pick now only because we haven’t had a bye yet so our losing percentage is lower.

And if the Bears win another game they could go from 2 to 13!

OK so thats your reasoning for Fields playing. You want to go from 2 to 13. This season is lost. Accept it.

The season is lost as in playoff contention but its not lost for the younger guys that can get valuable playing time. Plus it helps GM and coaches evaluate players they need to retain, replace or re-sign next year.

And do you think Rodgers will have trouble with our defense - non existent pass rush, no Brisker no Gordon no Vildor no Eddie Jackson.

Bears defense made that no-name JEts QB look like Tom Brady last week.

I get that so we just throw Fields to the dogs, right. Thats the way we have to end the season so we have to draft a QB too.

After all Poles isnt obligated to keep Fields. He isnt their draft pick.
