 Green Bay did not get a clear first rounder but a flip of first rounders.

 Figured Rodgers was at least worth a first rounder outright.

 Basically the packers got two second rounders at this point in time.

 No where near the Seattle Denver trade for Russell.

Well the Pack cleared cap space and they no longer have to pay his salary. Thats better than a 1st round pick. That had to figure into the compensation they received.

I think the 2nd rounder the Pack gets next year turns into a 1st if he plays 65% of the snaps. He doesn’t miss a lot of games so that seems likely
So basically they swapped 1sts this year, get a second this year and a first next year and swapped a couple other lower picks.
