Carolina Panthers rumors offering the ninth pick, edge Brian Burns(12.5 sacks) two second rounders, a third and a first next year.   Maybe Bears could get DJ Moore too?

Five high round picks and a DE for one pick ?

 Damn dude !

I didn’t come up with it.

They have to out bid the Colts with the 4th pick where Anderson or Carter may be available.

Whew! I'm telling you right now that between now and the draft is endless for scenarios.  :D

Before the draft is free agency ... what kind of mischief can Halas Hall make in those proceedings when BEARS own the bank ?

Realistically, we need to get free agency out of the way to firm up, and ratchet up, the draft possibilities.  March 15th boys.  Can you handle that?!

I think Poles will attempt to build starting units with  free agents.  A few will be big names but most will be like the past year - 1 year prove it JAGs.

I'm not so sure that he will draft to fill in the obvious holes.  Look at last year.  We knew there were holes all over - particularly on both lines.  Poles drafted a corner and a safety with his first 2 picks.

But realistically Poles could address just about any position in the draft and upgrade the Bears with his top picks besides QB and TE.   And some are wanting Poles to draft a QB and trade JF.

Speaking of TE, I would like to pair Kmet with Schultz, Engram, or Gesicki.

Or we could draft Darnell Washington, the TE from Georgia. 6’8” 270…and we could play him at TE, fullback, goal line back, red zone target, etc.

Why would any of those guys come to the Bears since we already have Kmet?  And why would the Bears pay big $ for a TE when they have so many other needs?

Kmet stats may not be as good as some of those guys, but Kmet on almost 50% of pass plays is pass blocking or chipping a DE.  When the Bears beef up their O-line I expect Kmet to increase his targets.

I do see the need for the Bears to draft or sign a receiving type TE.  Kind of like  Graham, Zach Miller or even a Ryan Wetnight type.

While it’s been confirmed that Chicago will be receiving Baltimore’s second-round selection, it’s unknown whether the Bears have the Ravens or Patriots’ fifth-round pick. If it’s New England’s, it would be pick 148. If it’s Baltimore’s, it’s pick 157.

Tankathon believes it's New England's.

While getting the better pick, being that its that far down the totem pole, its not that big of a deal one way or the other.

Bears OC Getsy to coach Senior Bowl

Yes its an honor. What I see and hope for is that Getsy will be evaluating the talent for the Bears and Poles

The Giants and the Jags winning moved the Bears pick from Baltimore up 2 notches in the 2nd round (55 -> 53).  Of course Baltimore losing also contributed!

Of course thats only one possible trade I am thinking there will be others trading up. And if I am the Bears I wait till the dust settles in the draft before making any deal unless its to #2.
