Smart let’s pass on Nolan. Then cowboys will trade up and pair him with Micah.

Outside of Carter, what 3T is worthy of #9 overall?

Answer: there’s not one…

If we trade down a bit, we can probably get Bryan Bresee out of Clemson…google him and see what you think…

There doesn’t seem to be one.  Bresee is all over the board even into very late round one.

Roy from LSU and Kancey from Pitt are well regarded day two guys.

Kancey might sneak into day 1 after his combine…it was impressive…

I hear Bresee is a prototype 3 technique but last season his sister died and he contracted multiple illnesses afterwards that concern teams.

If he’s good to go he could be the pick.

Get a veteran "bridge" 3T and draft a development guy or two later.

Benton from Wisconsin, Pickens from South Carolina, Wooden from Auburn, Young from Mississippi State.

How about the monster OT from Ohio State at #9? Is he worthy?

And now with Monty signing  with the Lions how about a highly rated RB at #9?

Bijan Robinson is the only 1st round RB.

His top comparison is Adrian Peterson. He’s a true 3 down back.

I wouldn’t hate it.

Not sure if Adebawore would slide to 53.  Worth a trade up to mid or possibly early 2nd perhaps?

Right now I would say Carter or Paris Johnson Jr at 9, or try and slide back a little and get some extra picks.  Although the dang trading back makes it frustrating waiting on draft night....

It seems the worst spot on the team, Dline, is going to be the toughest to fix this year unless by a miracle either Carter or Robinson drop, which is doubtful. It's going to have to be a bridge player. There's no remaining FA to help. So I expect them to throw bodies at the position, hope they find someone(s) that can make a impact. It's gonna be hard to go into this next season as bad as they were, thankfully. But now with Monty departing there's a spot that needs a bit more attention. It's going to be hard not to go BPA at 9 at this point....this team badly needs talent....
