There's nothing I look for in an employee more than the ability to skate out of trouble.

JJ - I think the Bears are putting their eggs in Eddie Jackson's basket.  He was having a nice season when he suffered that injury.

No one thinks that having a friend die in a car accident you had something to do with would likely make you get off track and a little depressed?  These "KIDS" are human.  A lot of legal trouble and depression can cause you to lose a bit of focus and maybe gain some weight if you are off your routine.  Get him in the right situation.  Get him with the right leadership and mentors and he could get back to himself.

Yes, if Carter is on the board @ 9, you grab him gleefully. He seems a WIP. Mold him.

Taking Carter at any pick less than the 5th round (which won't happen), will be a risk. The NFL is tough and cruel, the fans are cruel. If he indeed is suffering from mental issues, it could go either way once he hits the NFL. At the same time, every pick comes with risk. If he's available at 9 and the Bears pass, I will understand why. If they have the opportunity and do draft him, big risk, but may pay dividends..

I think you draft him and get his head back together and build on the inner talent he has. And dont let Method near him

I don’t know a guy like Lucas Van Ness, who got a good pass rush against Skoronski and Paris Johnson seems like NFL ready pass rusher.

What a joke, by all accounts, he literally let his team mate die in his car and drove off and did not call for help. I hope Poles/Bears have more morals and a higher bar of ethics/work ethic then either you or Wishful.

I think it speaks volumes that he got depressed over this, instead of trying to work through it. Ryan Leaf 2.0.

Carter is either high risk or high reward and you won't know until he's chosen by someone.....

I have an unhealthy obsession with Darnell Washington.  I really want that guy to be a Chicago Bear.

I was thinking of CJ Gardner-Johnson as a compliment to Eddie Jackson. My problem is I don't know what the price tag would be. He is 25 years old,

The kind of age Poles likes. Here's the 4 Chicago Bears making eight figures at this point in time :

 D.J. Moore $20,165,000

 Eddie Jackson $17,090,000

 Tremaine Edmunds $14,687,500

 Cody Whitehair $14,100,000

On the other hand you have guys like this being paid and you go : WTF ??

 Khalil Herbert $972,676

 Jack Sanborn $872,500

The Bears still have the most cap space in the league even after all of their signings.

What do you do with Brisker?  Did you mean rotate Jackson and Gardner- Johnson?
