Yeah Conte got rolled bad. He either makes plays (occasionally) or has plays made against him (more often). Unfortunately for his sake he get hurt a lot as he throws himself around (or is thrown around :D).

I think he got hurt last night too....

Thought I saw Bostic but was not legendary pre-season Jon "boom" Bostic but his brother...

Damn I watch too much football.... :D

Cowboys are desperate at WR.  They have a bunch of #3s and #4s.  Cooper will help them and Gruden will have 3 number 1 picks in 2019.

Amari has led the league in drops every year in the league. He's worth no more then a 3. Jerrah bid against himself and lost as always.

Funny how David Carr and Jameis Winston were up and coming stars and now both so deep in the dog house.

NFL does stand for "Not for Long". The season being as short as it is, good and bad play is amplified 10x.

I think it gets harder to see the forest for the trees, so to speak, since there are not a lot of games to base decisions on in a single season, and as such, emotions tend to ride higher than if it were like a 32 game season or some such...

That said, wouldn't have it any other way....

Go BEARS !

Interesting read about the failings of the 15' draft class.

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/nfl-trade-deadline-reveals-ugly-truth-2015-draft-class-061639654.html

Appears the draft is getting tougher to spot the stars among the stumps. Bears have thankfully turned a corner in the draft and are getting some quality, finally.

Pretty much 3 out of 10 are successes.

And that's not the only draft class like that.

Theat's why I dismiss people complaining that wnnling games will hurt the Bears draft position.  The reality is the more players you can get in the top 100 stands a better chance for good players than how high in the first round you draft.

So the Bears can win all they want the next couple of years and not worry about where they draft in round 1.

But the Bears are not looking good for getting many opportunities on that top 100 chart.

Who is worried about winning games this year or next year? I want to win games not lose games. How silly can you be?  Most sane people know they have given up their 1st round pick in 2019 and 2020. But that doesnt stop those people from wanting better talent for their team. And the better we do also diminishes the cost of those 2 picks we gave up. Put your booze down and wake up.
