But you seem to fail to realize that they still got the QB the Bears should have drafted. Plus they didnt overpay for what they got like we stupidly did.

OK, so you are officially now going on record as not being behind the Bears drafting Justin Fields.

It will be interesting to follow the careers of the Vikings Darrisaw and Monds vs Jenkins and Fields.

Yes but we are talking about coaching too.  Bears coaching is always suspect

How good a job did Belichek do without Brady this year?

It's all about the QB.

How about the coaching of the players in front of the QB?

When Belicheck was asked what he looks for in a QB, he replied...

1) decision making
2) anticipation
3) accuracy

Tru had 0 of these. Let's hope Fields has 3.

And how many QBs have the Bears swung at and missed in the last 30 years? And recently we traded up from 3 to 2 to get a QB. And just to ask a dumb question but since I am nutty I guess I can ask you a nutty

question. And who are you to say that this swing is going to be any more successful? The Bears history with QBs is documented.

Based on Bears' history then they should never ever draft another QB.

How about the coaching of the players in front of the QB?

You mean the 7th round draft choice at LT.  Or the center who went undrafted along with his college teammate at RG from Notre Dame.  Or Rashad Coward who was a collegiate DE and converted to RT and was put in at RG.  RT has been manned by FAs for the last 5 years.

The only top draft choices have been Whitehair and Daniels and Daniels missed most of the season.

Good coaching can make a difference until it can't.

So strange. Looks like an autopsy is needed to determine the cause of death.

Might be a guy to look into. Wonder what a trade would cost us. Would think not much. Didn't address depth in the draft...

I like Jordan Hicks - but do you give up a draft pick and pay him $6M and where does he play?  Bears already have Roquan and Trevathan at ILB and just signed ex-Bear Christian Jones to back them up as our backups last year not so good.
