Nagy's first season Tru looked like the real deal. Isn't that the year of the doink? The second year not so much, what was the difference?

In 2018, the year Trubisky made the pro-bowl and the Bears the playoff Trubisky  had a 95 rating with 24 TDs and 12 picks.  Completed 66.7% in 14 games

In 2020, his last year.  Trubisky had a 93 rating with 16 TDs and 8 picks.  Completed 67% in 10 games.

Trubisky's problem was that he's an average QB - he wasn't elite.

Justin Fields last year had an 85 rating which is below average.  Couple that with his running and he's about average.

To start with, Trubisky was using his legs. Something changed. Tru has digressed since his time with the Bears. I watched a Steelers game where he came in and looked good for about 5 or 6 plays, then the wheels came off. Another bumbled draft pick...

I really hold out hope that we get another number 1 out of next years draft.  At the sake of mega cashing in this year.  My question would be, which of those 5 teams do we think will be the worst after this year?  I think that knocks the Panthers out in my book.  I would probably be conservative, and trade down with the Colts.  Take the BPA at 4 (hopefully Carter), whatever other compensation we can get this year, and next year's 1.  And bet on the Colts to suck.

 Cleveland tossed how many first rounders for Watson ?

 Denver tossed how many first rounders for Russell ?

 Frisco tossed how many first rounders for Lance ?

 Marcus Mariota released by Atlanta.

 Saw somewhere that he would be a good fit with Justin Fields.

 Similar styles.

@AdamSchefter
Former Eagles’ DT Javon Hargrave has reached agreement on a four-year, $84 million deal that includes $40m guaranteed at signing with the SF 49ers, per sources. Deal negotiated and confirmed by Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha.

Panthers are saying Matt Corral is available, and it wouldn’t take much to get him.

Bears should bring him in as our #2.

The #Raiders are closing in on a deal with QB Jimmy Garoppolo, sources say. After six seasons and a Super Bowl appearance with the #49ers, Jimmy G is on his way to Vegas, the site of this season’s Super Bowl, to reunite with Josh McDaniels.

So the Raiders likely won’t be going QB…
