What do the Chicago Bears do when they absolutely positively rule the offseason in every aspect ?

JJ has entirely drank the Koolaid, gone to the cabinet-made some more- and then drank that down as well.....and is on the way to making more

They flub it, like they always do. They havent had a good draft since they drafted Butkus and the Kansas comet

With all due respect to Butkus and Sayers the Bears '83 draft was the base for an NFL Champion.

Perhaps, however Butkus and Sayers are both HOFers. And the Sayers knee injury ruined his remaining time in the NFL

Furthermore, that year the Bears had 2 #1's and didnt flub either, which is still a record

I guess I have to list the members of the '83 class for you that were part of that Super Bowl team:

1   Jimbo Covert
1   Willie Gault
2   Mike Richardson
3   Dave Duerson
4   Tom Thayer
4   Pat Dunsmore
8   Richard Dent
8   Mark Bortz

Covert and Dent are in the Hall of Fame too.  So the Bears HAVE had good drafts since 1965.  In fact, the Urlacher draft was pretty good too.  He made the HOF too.  And Mike Brown was in that draft.

One other note on the Roquan - the 5th Rd pick that was traded to CHI (w/ the 2nd) was listed as Conditional on the NFL’s transaction report. Not sure what the conditions were, but given that he made the Pro Bowl & has now signed an ext, I’d have to think the conditions were met.

Purdy from SF is amazing. Think he could take them pretty far in the playoffs.

He sure is good, especially when he has all day to throw to great receivers who are wide open.

Yeah actually a lot of his throws were under pressure and on the run, but sure.....all day....he made plays when it counts which is what a QB is supposed to do....

That’s correct, not saying it isn’t, just that it’s nice on third and long to see Samuel or Kittle wide open.

Did you see the Cowboys kicker Maher miss 4 XPs last night?  It happens to the best of them.

I guess I was wrong.  That loser Hackett going to the Jets can only mean one thing.
