I believe that they'll kiss and make up, and he'll be back for one more season. It will be far worse than this past season for the Pack. Then there will be choice but to unload rodgers. We've seen the last of a dominant Packers team. At least for the next couple of years.

If we do F.A. and the draft every bit as good as we can then I want Aaron Rodgers back at helm of the pack for payback.

 That much is owed us.

Predicting the demise of Rodgers - I've seen these posts for years and years.  What is Rodgers now...almost 40?   Maybe you guys will be right this time.

Until now, I don't think I've predicting much of anything with Rodgers. I don't see the Pack being the team that they were a couple of years ago. I guess they could be like some of the other teams and make a miraculous turnaround.. We'll see..

Rodgers played with a makeshift O-line and rookie wide receivers after losing arguably the best WR in the game.  They won I  don't know how many games in a row at the end  and were one win away from making the playoffs.

With him and Brady 40 is the new 30.

Packers are not the same team they were a couple years ago but right now their talent is superior than the Bears.  We'll see what happens with the draft and free agency to possibly change that.

Now thats no shock. That just further makes my draft belief more realistic. We need that 3 technique to be our #1 pick. Its my opinion that we have no margin for error either because Phoenix sits @ #3. Phoenix needs defense, not a QB

And what if Bears are able to sign the FA DT out of Denver?  Would you still draft Carter?

I know what Poles would do.  He wouldn't care who we signed and draft the highest rated (hopefully non-QB) on the board.

What DT out of Denver? Is he a 3 technique that we need or is he an ordinary POS? At this point not knowing details, I doubt I get off the Carter bandwagon.

Dremont Jones is Denver's 3-4 DE that projects to 3 technique.  The ordinary POS had 6.5 sacks last season over 13 games (22 sacks in 4 years there).  The only drawback is he's 6-3 281, but played DT his first year in Denver.

Not in the same class as Payne but a consolation prize that would significantly upgrade the Bears D-line.

The odds for a superbowl repeat just went WAY down:

Matt Nagy is once again the offensive coordinator of the Chiefs.

The Chiefs announced that Nagy will be taking over the job vacated by Eric Bieniemy’s departure for Washington. Nagy held the same position in 2016 and 2017 before being hired as the head coach of the Bears and he was seen as the likeliest candidate to take over the role.

Nagy was fired in Chicago after the 2021 season and returned to the Chiefs a short time later. He had the titles of quarterbacks coach and senior assistant during the 2022 season.

There was no word of interviews for the job after Bieniemy left for the Commanders, but the Rooney Rule mandates that teams interview at least one external minority candidate for coordinator positions so the Chiefs either kept their conversations private or will be hearing from the NFL.

Yeah, Nagy couldn't make Chicago a consistent winner with Trubisky at QB.  Neither did Tomlin.

Nagy's first season Tru looked like the real deal. Isn't that the year of the doink? The second year not so much, what was the difference?

When I say the real deal, I'm saying he looked like he could man the position..
