There's nothing I can do about the profanity filter.

We can get around it if we pay for the site to be ad-free. That is based on page views. It would be expensive.

Yeah I kinda figured that one out when the BOT zapped you.

Thanks for clearing it up Dave. We can work around it. Do you have a list of banned words?

How are you able to post youtube vids?  The embed code doesn't work here?

VJ hit the insert hyperlink tab...paste the link between the URL /URL.

Embedding You Tube
« Reply #125 on: May 30, 2011, 11:18:30 am »
Can one embed You Tube videos here?

If so, I haven't seen a command-button that facilitates it.

I don't think that you need a command button.  I just post the URL and clicking on the link brings it up for the viewer.   Or am I missing something here?

Sorry for the confusion.

I meant a button in the collection that allows one to embed a video.

Just read on Android news that there's a bill to make embedding certain Youtube vids a felony! Can't believe it. Copyright laws are becoming downright ridiculous and now, could become dangerous! It's Senate bill 978- a bill to amend the criminal penalty provision for criminal infringement of a copyright, and for other purposes- may be used to prosecute people for embedding YouTube videos. If a website embeds a YouTube vid and it is determined to have infringed a copyright and more than 10 peoples view it on that website, the owner or others associated could face up to five years in prison. It sets the stage to criminalizing linking to copyrighted info. Seriously, this is insane. Contact your rep and tell them to knock this bill in the butt! It's seriously getting way out of hand......kinda like alot in this Country, ain't it? Sad. Just saw where a Fed judge was going to lock up anyone that prayed in Gods name at a Texas grad ceremony, including anyone who raised their hands in prayer, mentioned God's name, closed with 'in Jesus's name' or Gods name. It's getting pretty dark and really beginning to look like the old Soviet republic in this land. We're losing freedoms and quickly.

I would think they would prosecute the person who posted the vid, not the folks that link to it.

Apparently way too many politicians on both sides don't like videos of their corruption or mere stupidity being seen by the masses
