I agree with Navigator's, views on the subject.

If you want to type the f-word go ahead.  If they use a few stars I'm sure your comment would still be understood.

Now, if they deleted your whole post because of unacceptable language THAT would be a problem for me.

I don't think there's any "public" posting of this board. I may be wrong, but I'd like to know if there's a list of forums for this place. I'm thinking not, but again, I don't know that for a fact.

I think you can censor individually per profile settings if you wish.
MY beef here is I can upload larger profile pics but the thing shows them in tiny size. What's with that??  :-\

Also a reeeeeal irritating deal is when posting a comment,it takes me back to the forum thread list instead of back to the thread I was in. Any way to change that??

JJ... I was at the trib(under a different username) and remember it well. Go ahead and curse, swear or say whatever you want. I'll support your right to do so but that doesn't change my opinion that excessive profanity adds little if anything to an intelligent conversation.

It doesn't really bother me because I know what the word is. It is still being communicated. I look at as nothing more than a game of Wheel of Fortune. I think you are making a mountain out of a mole hill. Sorry JJ...I just can't get all worked up over a few asterisks on an internet message board .

Ok JJ...I'll play I don't consider **** or **** to be profanity and it probably shouldn't be altered with asterisks but as I said. I really don't care enough to obsess about it. If they were deleting your posts i would probably think differently but the occasional asterisk that still allows the reader to recognize the word is not the end of the world as we know it.
