Jes,
1812 the last time the U.S. was invaded ?
SEE : Battle of Columbus New Mexico, March 9th 1916.
Although territory's and not actual U.S. states ,
see also : Guam, Wake Island , Kiska & Attu ...
during WWII.
BTW ... we were invaded on 9-11-2001.
I will assume that your mischaracterization of my position was not deliberate, but was instead the result of an effort at simplification. That being the case, it is important to remember that often efforts at simplification result in serious distortion.
Now, could you go back and find anywhere that I wrote that 1812 was the last time the U.S. was invaded?
If you find it, please cut and paste it in your response, and make sure that in doing so, you include the entire sentence. If you get that far, please before you click on "Post" actually READ what I wrote.
Now, regarding 9/11, since I was responding to YOUR comment that "you are here because they were there," and since I responded with a reference to "the last time our military really repelled any invasion of the United States and any effort to conquer us," could you explain how it was that our military repelled the 9/11 invasion? All of the "invaders" died, and they did so without any military involvement in bringing about their deaths.
Again, I am not trying to discourage you from praising the service and sacrifice of our armed forces, but we are NOT here in this country because they were anywhere (unless, of course, you are talking about the military role in slaughtering and relocating native Americans so we could take their land).
