Rodgers is heads and shoulders better than what they have now...

Otto, I guess McCarthy isn't on board with leftwing cop haters being his QB.

I heard Tony Romo's name thrown around as a potential replacement too.

Romo threw 4 passes last year. he has broken his collar bone twice. He's done at 37.

Kaepernick has not played a meaningful game since 2013 when he was surrounded by Pro-bowl players. He was in line to make $10 million from the 49ers this year - apparently he wants more than that - he opted out of that 49ers contract. Now he is suing the NFL - so no team will touch him.

Now Rodgers is having surgery. Probably out 3 months. Even if he game back the Peckers would be out of it. it will be very hard to not get hit again on that shoulder  - after surgery it's never the same.

Definitely respect McCarthy for not going after Kaepernick. That's about the only thing I respect about the Pakers, but it's something...

Sporty, you have to respect the Packers man, they find QBs and have been in the hunt almost every year as long as I can remember without the scandals of the Patriots. Teams that win every year and aren't always in some kind of scandal you have to respect, even if you don't like them.

I don't mind giving credit to Rodgers - if the Packers win here on out you can then give credit to the Packers.

I see no way they make the play offs with out Rodgers.  Maybe they prove me wrong but I doubt it.  They will likely be out of it even if he can make it back by the end of the year which also looks unlikely.  But then he came back against the Bears with the other collar bone and beat them so who knows.

However this one needs surgery and is the throwing arm.

With the Packers problems with OT injuries, Rogers was able to speed up the decision process like few QB's I have ever seen.

It's a lot to expect Hundley to work with those protection problems.

That Peckers defense is something special. 485 yards. Rodgers out shows the deficiencies of the Peckers.

Care to comment on the Packer game?  Otto?   Otto?  Buehler?

Yea sure, it looked like a John Fox game plan.

Hundley moved the offense to 17 points, how did number one pick mitchel do?

He made some plays and wasn't a turnover machine. How did Favre look his first year?
