I've not been quiet. I'm totally disgusted with the way this Bears team played.....

The Bears played awful. I would wait til Love plays a few more before anointing him the next coming..

I haven't anointed Jordan Love anything other than 1-0 against the Bears.

But he certainly outplayed Fields.

Love had the better pocket to play out of.. Otherwise, yes, I agree..

I would have to say after watching the game a second time I was happy with Love’s improvement over the last two years. He threw some very good passes on time between the numbers. The 4th down play to Adams Jones was beautiful.

On defense we are faster than we have been in years.

Injuries…hope that everyone is good as it’s just week one.

With Rodgers gone for the season, the Jets will only have to give GB a 2nd round pick. It would have been their 1st rounder if he had taken 65% of their snaps.

That’s a shame…

I don't wish injury on anyone, but in Rodgers case, he can go fuckhimself into the sunset.  And I suspect there are a handful of Packer fans, while appreciative of his hall of fame career, 1 SB win, and outright ownership of the Bears, who might actually agree with me.

As far as Love goes, he made the plays on 3rd down.  He missed an easy touchdown to Musgrave.  He faced zero pressure.  He can be good enough for the Packers to stick with him rather than trade away the kingdom for another QB.  Gutekunst did a good job building the trenches especially on the DL and Fields never stood a chance.

NFL Rumors: Packers' first-round pick Lukas Van Ness is turning into a draft steal
The Packers' No. 13 overall pick of the 2023 draft, Lukas Van Ness, has been outplaying his peers so far this year.

It's a small sample size, but the team has to be pleased with how quickly Van Ness has acclimated to the NFL.
Van Ness became the first Packers rookie pass-rusher to record a sack in Week 1 in 28 years. Since the season-opening win over the Bears, the rookie has tallied four tackles, two tackles for loss, and five quarterback pressures.

At his level of production, it's no wonder the Packers are playing him often (he has 53 snaps through two weeks). Out of all the first-round edge rushers taken in April, Van Ness has the highest "pass rush productivity", a statistic generated by Pro Football Focus,

He is looking good.  I thought he would have been good fit in Bears defense.

Packers still suck!

Packers came out looking decent. But put things into perspective, they beat a horrific Bears team, and lost to a so so Atlanta team. Without a doubt, the pack is in much better shape than the Bears... That's not saying much...

Only time will tell..

Long way to go yet with 15 games on schedule.

The Pack is a very young team and I have elevated my respect for Lafleur as a coach.
