So, we're close to 5 mil people that have or have had covid (in the U S).. The population of the U S is 330 mil. So 1.5% of the population has been affected. I will concede that there are more cases that have not been reported, which brings us to the death rate. Probably more like 6.5 mil have been affected, so we have a death rate of .000035... For what it's worth..
