Cletus is just following the new Democrat talking points.  I should have known.  Do any liberals have an original thought themselves, ever?

And you clowns are forgetting that Billy Bob, the lecherous former President we had, who should have been impeached, signed a treaty with the Ukraine to work together to end corruption in the Ukraine, so it was entirely legal by treaty to ask the Ukraine to look into corruption whether here or there.

That is exactly what Joe Biden did!

President Trump was just pushing his foreign policy agenda.  There was no quid pro quo.  The Ukrainian President did not know the funds were being with held and President Trump never threatened to hold them.  Biden did that!

President Trump never said do this or you won't get the funds.  Biden did that!

Are you this stupid or just lying?

This whole scam IS to protect Biden. They DUMBmocrats knew the Republicans were going after Creepy Joe Biden on Ukraine. This will not end well for the Democrats.

My condolences on the Mueller report.

If it was simple you would have answered the question.

So, try again.

"In trump's summary of the call does the Ukrainian President ask for this (Anti-tank missiles) and then our president asks for that (public announcement of an investigation of the Bidens)?"

Additionally, answering the first time you just posted another lie. Trump himself ordered the aid to be held as the extortion item. Of course you can try to post some crap from the unreliable media you troll in to support your lie. But I just laugh at you more.

Sure Pekin

Pushing some opinion writer from the Federalist Society to opine of the Impeachment of trump. The author claims that Hunter Biden is central to the "corruption" that trump was trying to combat.

Okay, three questions.

First, what law did Burisma break by putting Hunter Biden on their board?

Second, was there an active investigation into Burisma or Hunter Biden at the time or any time?

Third, can you cite any other instance where trump suspended foreign aid and asked for an anti corruption investigation.

1) Corruption does not require the breaking of any law, though it would appear that it did amount to part of a conspiracy which would have violated both U.S. and Ukrainian law.

2) Yes, and yes.

3) I believe he also did so with aid to Mexico and a few Central American nations, but for some foolish reason neither the State Department, the Secretary of the Treasury nor Trump  himself directly brief me on such things.

Also, ron.

Can you post when aid was suspended to Mexico or any other Central American country over a corruption investigation request.

And your point is what?  I never suggested that the investigation was for anything Hunter did.  I never suggested it was for anything done while he was on the board.

You asked, "Second, was there an active investigation into Burisma or Hunter Biden at the time or any time?"  Two questions there, and I answered both "Yes."

Nothing at the link you provided suggests otherwise.

I wish we'd stop calling it a quid pro quo (which it certainly was) and, instead, call it bribery, extortion, and blackmail. It will be a lot easier for dopes like Pekin and the rest here to understand why this was bad if we use those words.

Just in case you feel that definitions are important.

Merriam-Webster

1: the act or practice of extorting especially money or other propertyespecially : the offense committed by an official engaging in such practice

Definition of bribery
: the act or practice of giving or taking a bribe

Definition of blackmail
1: a tribute anciently exacted on the Scottish border by plundering chiefs in exchange for immunity from pillage
2a: extortion or coercion by threats especially of public exposure or criminal prosecution
b: the payment that is extorted

I hate to ask the impossible, but can you point to where Trump did anything that fits any description?

Be ready for much higher taxes, fees and government involvement with no benefit as happened here in California when they took power.

I think you said you're a contractor.  They're really going to put the screws to you.
Get ready for higher business taxes, permit costs, employee costs, fuel costs.  My prediction is in 3 years you'll be thinking you'd be better off swinging a hammer.
