I wonder how the Kurds feel about all that Trump has done for peace in the Middle East?

Probably pretty good as we help them develop an oil economy to make them autonomous.

Yes, I’m sure they are very excited about that as they fight off another genocide all by themselves.

Uh, no we’re protecting them and got the Syrians Turks and Russians off their backs.

You guys use news sources that speculate how things will be without investigation.

Then when they’re wrong they simply don’t report it.

You have an bottomless well of excuses for Trump led crimes against humanity.  Have you visited the concentration camps recently to gawk at the kids being held?

Look man, you are on the wrong side of history here.  The facts are that trump broke an agreement, pulled out of Syria, and left the Kurds to be slaughtered by the Turks and these attacks are on going. This is not in dispute.  Leaving some troops behind to protect oil fields (which is also happening and not in dispute) is not a substitute for abiding by the original agreement.  The bottom line is that Trump has failed a key ally in the region and they are suffering as a result.

The Kurds have not been slaughtered.

Other than local attacks which have been ongoing for 3000 years the Kurds are still there.

No genocide no slaughter.

Pompeio made the possible sanctions clear.

There are fewer Kurds there than there were when the US was abiding by its agreement.  The Turks are actively attacking and the genocide is underway. You seem to think it’s ok but the Kurds are concerned which is why they are asking the Russians for help. This is a bad situation and the blame lies squarely with Trump.

Love how you repeatedly widen the goal post to fit your narrative.  Far different from what you would have people believe from your first post.

But then we are used to that.

Nothing has changed. My initial comment was about a way that Trump has actively made the MIddle East a less peaceful place.  He bailed on an ally and an agreement and now they are under attack (not peaceful) with the goal of eventually wiping them out (genocide).  Your comments about “getting the Turks off their backs” is objectively false.

The more recent attacks started 2014 and have been greatly reduced the last 18 months.

ISIS obviously is no longer killing Kurds.  Turkey could over run the Kurds in about 5 minutes if genocide was their goal.
