It won't. Remember, death, taxes ? Fry suffered with the exact same disease processes my wife has. The meds used to combat the RA and Colitis lower your immune system and you get Pneumonia. How did play so well with RA? Every movement can be an agony. RIP Glen Fry.

Man, Jackie, you are an encyclopedia of tunes.  My bus driver was boasting about his 6,000 plus CD collection and I commented surely that includes several Muddy Waters records . . . and it didn't.  Go figure.

I have had a copy of "Fathers and Sons" on vinyl since like '70 and a cd copy that I play with regularity. I like to think it is one of the best live performance albums I heard in many years.

Well, I found a "best of" that has the original early cuts of Muddy on Chess.  It's not great because so many of the songs have been recorded again with much more enthusiasm.   I'm giving the Chess CD to the bus driver this morning.  Tain't right to be without what most people consider to be the King of the Blues.

I've seen the Stones, the Who, Tull, Aeroswsmith twice , Seeger, Blue Oyster Cult, Santana, Clapton twice, CSN, the Kinks, and several others I can't even remember as I am just waking up.

The two performances I saw by Muddy Waters, once in the late 70's and then again about three years later, were better than any of them.
