No, you don’t need dope to kill the pain, although it would be grand to have some.  Just get a toothache that makes you crawl around on the floor and plead to God to please put you out of your misery now. Spit comes out your mouth and you’re crying like a little baby because you can’t believe the intensity of the pain. Then, just like that, the pain quits. There is no better high than that.
