That’s if both Jenkins and Davis make it out of training camp healthy.

May as well pencil in Bates as a guard LOL.

That's why it's wise to stock the bench.

You think backup positions aren’t holes?

Depth is important.

At least somebody at Halas Hall figured that out.

 Also :

It looks like the LINEBACKER corp is satisfactory judging by only one F.A. signing.

Linebacking is in pretty good shape.  Starters are top notch (actually Edwards is top notch - Edmunds is pretty good).  Sanborn is fine as a sub/part time starter.  Sewell is unproven but should be solid depth.  And Ogbongbemiga is strictly special teams.

Bears just needed to replace Cole's spot on the roster which they did.

I don't expect to see Williams in that game.

I wonder if the Bears will be the Hard Knocks team this year.

NFL set for to vote on new Hard Knocks participation rules

NFL Media will seek an ownership vote tomorrow on a plan to revamp team selection rules for “Hard Knocks,” with the goal of expanding the pool of potential featured teams while making the documentary series less invasive.

If owners approve the new rules, teams will only be able to avoid the off-season “Hard Knocks” production if they: 1.) Have participated before in the last 8 years (down from 10 years); 2.) Have a first-year head coach (unchanged); or 3.) Will participate in the in-season “Hard Knocks” show in the current season or next season.

Crucially, teams that make the playoffs will no longer be off limits to producers in the following two offseasons if this proposal passes.

Also under this plan, the three-year-old in-season version of “Hard Knocks” would now feature a full four-team division instead of a single team. That would ease competitive concerns, give producers more options for storytelling, and lighten the load on any single team, proponents say.

The proposed changes come after the current restrictions left HBO/NFL Films producers with only four teams to choose from in the 2023 offseason. The Jets were chosen; the Saints, Bears and Commanders were also eligible.

Ryan Poles is on the Pat McAfee show today. His piece starts about 10 minutes into the show.

I have it paused bc I’m on a Teams call…not sure how long he’s scheduled to be on…

Bagent was working out with Stroud, Hurts and others at the 3DQB program.  All the dudes were asking him how the Bears were going to do.  He told them all, "we're going to the Super Bowl."

I'm a fan of Tyson Bagent.  He'll be a solid developing hungry QB2.  No need to spend on a vet to back up CW IMO.
