Mack is questionable, Quinn is doubtful

And we didn't even play any preseason games...

WTF?  How did they get hurt?  They barely practiced or a had a training camp.  No pre-season at all.  This season is going to be a train wreck.

My excitement at the start of this season is at the lowest its ever been in over 40+ years watching the NFL. I'm more curious than excited.  Its still even money when the deaths (rightly or wrongly) attributed to the King Flu come out in the fall (it is flue season  after all and it happens every year- this one is just overly politicized) that the season will be shortened or canceled.

And after the Democrat (justly deserved) ass-kicking in the election the cries to shut everything down again will increase. The NFL, like most corporations continue to make the same shitty decisions such as giving in to a Marxist race hate organization instead of telling them to **** off as would happen in a normal, sane world....

That said, I'll be watching and since I forgot that my NFL Season Pass auto-renewed, I'll get to see all the Bear games (albeit delayed) in all their gory detail....

Besides, what the hell else am I going to do ? :D

Hey- just realized that could be a new slogan for the NFL (or at least MNF) :D

Guys get hurt all the time without any contact - did you see Montgomery pull his groin?

But...I don't know what's going on with Quinn.  Something just doesn't sound right.  He's doubtful but I'm thinking we'll see him on passing down Sunday.

Mitch looks the same.  Inconsistent decision making, fluttering passes.

Run blocking looking much better, pass blocking about the same as last year.  Ifedi is a big boy, I like the added size.

Bears still look like the slowest team in the NFL.  Trevathon in particular has been glacial.

Now the Lions are picking on trevathon.  The 2 minute drill incompetence was very costly.

Jimmy Graham 2 poorly timed jumps that were very costly.  the guy has a caught a ball before right?  Anthony Miller 2 questionable routes and 2 drops.  Mack once again, single teamed and gets close but cant close the deal.  And surprisingly Mingo filling in for the injured mighty Quinn.  Not sure what Quinn brings to the party, but the D looks gassed.  Montgomery looks good, keep feeding him the ball.  And Mooney, please target him, a lot more.

The rookie Johnson looks to be pretty decent.  and yes Trevethan is getting picked on, as he looks a tad slow.  And after all that kneeling Bilal Nicols did, he hasnt made a single play that I have seen so far.  Its only the first half of the first game, but my expectations for the year are now rock bottom.

Wow.  They looked so bad that drive.  No resistance at all.

What a ridiculously bad decision to kick that long fg.
