The O-line is not terrible.  The D-line is terrible.  The O-line just isn't very good.

If the Bears think Jones can handle LT they just need to find a center and a RT.   Bears just don't have the money or the picks to do a whole scale replacement of the O-line.

Defensive line needs attention.  Maybe target a couple o-lineman in R3 and R4 (2 picks) and free agency.

To your point about Leatherwood, he obviously had the tools at Alabama, and became a 1st round choice.  About 6 months ago, there were many calling for the Bears to release Jenkins and that has worked out that we didn't.  Would love to see Leatherwood get some more snaps to see what we have, and maybe scratch RT off of the shopping list as well.  Borom comes back as swing tackle, in an ideal world.

Well, Jags beat the Titans so that moves them further away from us. And the Eagles hammered the Giants, so I may have to revise my 55-10 blowout upward. ::) The Loins also whupped the Queens so that moves them further off from us so our spot in the draft is solidifying and so is our place in the Divisions toilet....wonderful, gotta love it....

That kneecap diet will only take the Lions so far but it has been amusing at least.....

Think the Broncos moved ahead of the Bears in the draft....now sit at 2nd and Bears, 3rd....

4 games left - do you think the Bears lose out?   I'm thinking with Fields' talent and the return of Brisker and Gordon the Bears might be able to pull out another win out of the remaining 4 games.

It won't be easy.

Eagles and Bills are fighting for that bye.  Vikings are fighting for a home playoff game and the Lions are still in the Wild Card race.

Obviously the Vikings are a fraud.  But unless Detroit is somehow able to steal the division and block the Vikings from a home playoff game because of an epic collapse, I cannot think of a scenario where they don't rest their starters when playing the Bears.

Is there an advantage in having the 2nd best NFC record among division winners?   Vikings hold a one game lead over red-hot 49ers.
