The good news was they didnt beat the Bears by 50 points. They made a decent game out of it in the 2nd half. We are moving up towards the top 10 in the 2025 draft.

WYF just happened they had the ball on the 25 with 46 seconds left and a time out and ended up running two plays not using the timeout and no tying field goal???

I was the same way.. "WTF just happened".. "game over?" Another very winnable game up in smoke.. I hate playing for a draft spot..

Another best case scenario.  Caleb is excellent, Eberflus **** it up.

Caleb had several bad plays but he can really pull the offense out of the fire like nobody since McMahon.

What really hurt was the horseshit horse collar penalty on Gordon when we stopped them on 3rd down…

What about the Lion defender pulling Keenan Allens helmet off and the refs calling a penalty on Allen for complaining about it?  I know he threw the football but he threw it to the ref.  Players do that all of the time.

Well, there is tossing the ball to the ref and then throwing the ball at a ref in anger. Allen did the latter and deserved the flag for letting his frustrations get the best of him.

I agree he should have been smarter but that was a lame ass call after letting the defender rip his helmet off and do nothing.

The ball went in the general direction of the ref on the ground.  It wasn't as if he spiked the ball in the refs face or something.

Allen threw the ball at the ref out of frustration, deserved frustration. There should've been a flag against Detroit right away. It only cost about 2 yards, but stilll...

Eberflus is running the defense, and no one is running the team...

Horrible coaching loss.  You can't let your rookie QB struggle at the end, should have called a timeout when it got to 12 seconds...lets it run all the way down.  Unforgiveable.

On the Allen penalty, with his helmet ripped off and no call, the ref could have just ate the flag.  And the Gordon call was crap.

Well, the getting run out of the building aged well. What I meant was LAUGHED out of the building......

This team has talent. It does not have coaching and the final straw that proves this is how undisciplined they are. They do not respect this staff.

There should be a cartoon drawn (if i could draw) called "The Six Stages of Regret Eberflus":

It consists of a series of panels starting from 6 weeks ago through today.

The first one has Flus at the podium after the hail mary game. "blah blah 11 yards don't matter blah blah" and so on down the line with various quotes from the loser press conferences ("we liked our approach and other Flusisms).

In each panel after the 1st one he's dressed more and more like a clown. First panel is just a nose, 2nd he has hair added etc until he is in full Bozo outfit for this last fiasco.

The kicker is that in the last panel, George and Poles lean out from behind in the distance also clown-like and saying together "Thats our coach !".

Damn I wish I could draw at least in lines....
