No fighting the Headless Horseman in WoW this year. One of the things I'll miss about the game. I really don't miss much else though. Haven't been doing any gaming to speak of. We're gonna get the kids a Xbox 360 for Christmas so I'll be getting games for that soon enough. Still prefer keyboard for gaming over a joystick, especially first person shooters. Just seems more intuitive using a mouse to aim where ya wanna go over a little joystick nob deal or buttons. Will definately take some time to get used to that if ever.....
Man, I'm gettin' old. Gaming doesn't do it for me anymore, riding roller coasters doesn't do it either. Used to love both now I'm happy to sit on my butt watching the kids ride. This sucks...hate getting old. What's next, Lawrence Welk reruns? I do actually like swing and whatnot....listen to Sinatra, Dean Martin, Harry Conick Jr.....oh well....

Funny you mentioned Lawrence Welk, I was scrolling through channels last night and there it was.  Who still watches that?

I am guilty of reactivating my Wow account on Friday.  We'll see how long it lasts.

WoW was no longer fun when no one else was playing.  If we were all still getting together a few eekends a month it would have been worth it to keep playing.

Yeah I won't be buying it.  I am going to wait for D3.   It should be out by February or so.

I am playing Skyrim on Xbox until D3 comes out.

Also Blizzard is working on a new MMO code named "Titan".  It has been in the works for a few years and probably has a few more years in development.   Hopefully by the time I am done with D3 it will be out.  Blizzard makes the best games.

I think they kind of lost WoW at some point.  You shouldn't have been able to easily find greens that replaced your best purple gear in the first zone of the expansions like they did.  And now the stats on gear is becoming silly because of it.  WoW has lost tons of subscribers and will lose a ton more once D3 comes out.  Yet they are still the biggest mmo around and it is not even close.

What is Skyrim? And wasn't WoW up to 20million subscribers just a while ago? I've been seeing a lot of ads and commercials by them. They must be bleeding subs....

They lost a ton after Cataclysm which was not well received.  Still has the most subscirbers of any MMO.

They have lost millions of subscribers though.  Which is why if you buy a year subscription of WoW they will give you D3 for free.

Skyrim is a single player game.  It is an open ended world where you can do whatever you want.  It has professions and factions, you can buy a house etc.

You can buy it on PC as well.  If you are interested in single player RPG's it is the best ever made.  A huge world with tons of quests and things to explore.  You can literally do whatever you want.  Of course if you steal or murder there will be abounty put on your head and the guards in the town will try and kill you or arrest you.  Your bounty is different from town to town so you can be a hero in one town and a villain in another.  Me personally I never steal or murder it is just not the way I play the game.  But you can if you want.

Yesterday while playing I had a dragon attack me and I was hiding behind a rock healing up.  When I went to go look for the dragon it was fighting a giant I had seen nearby.  It was then easy for me to kill it from a distance.  I got lucky if that had not happened I probably would have had to load from an earlier save.

Nope.   ;D

I only do that when I am playing with other people and trying to stay awake when I am really tired.
