Headed for the ninth in St. Louis; still 3-0.

That's our only chance of clinching tonight.

Hader can't find the strike zone, but he gets Kolten Wong to ground to first.  First baseman flips to Hader and they have the first out.

Edman called out on Ks on a ball that was high, we'll take it.

Hader looks like a Eric Gagne type who is going to be the best reliever in baseball for about 3 years, then flame out. The Brewers would be smart to trade him this offseason.

One could make the case that Hader is the second best RP on his own team.

These Fox announcers are terrible, the color guy keeps questioning the Brewers for using Hader today and potentially making him unavailable for tomorrow, even though their elimination number is 1 and they have to win no matter what to stay in the race.

Cubs clinch!

Let's back in!

It just wouldn’t feel right for this team to clinch any other way.

Cardinals have to go to San Diego, as things stand.  San Diego just had their 2 top pitchers go down.  Hope they make it back, but, man, those stinkin' Cards have all the luck.

Who are the Cubs scheduled to play as things stand now?  The Reds, a team we already finished ahead of during the season?  What a farce.  I'd rather play the Marlins, even with the inevitable Bartman references.

With the exception of Detroit at Kansas City where there is a 100% chance of rain, all games Sunday begin between 3:05 and 3:15 EDT.
