Any Luke Voit interest?

RHH 1B / DH

Or Edwin Rios, perhaps?

None whatsoever in Voit.  Rios?  Maybe on a minimum deal, but not much enthusiasm there either.

Some are saying he will have a huge benefit from removing the shift.  Up to 40 point higher in ave, and 10 additional HR's.

Dusty, sorry about Hooker.  Nasty

A 10 win season with wins over Alabama and Florida are hard to **** about around these parts.

As far as Hooker goes he's already a millionaire with a degree.

He'll be OK.

Sounds like Bellinger to Toronto is pretty close.

Is someone reputable reporting Bellinger close to going to the Jays? The main report I see when I search Twitter is from some guy with the username @MoLesterSources who joined Twitter a week before the trade deadline and has 83 tweets, so I don't put much stock in that.

Morosi seems to be the source of a lot of it.

Bellinger may well end up signing with Jays, but Morosi has said only that Jays have expressed interest——nothing abut “close” to signing.

@jonmorosi
Source: #BlueJays reached out to Cody Bellinger's camp to express interest after he was non-tendered. The Jays' interest was expected, based on their prior trade conversations with the #Dodgers.

Br  it's the off-season, the paperboy's girlfriend's brother has a good source for rumors.  Don't worry about Bellinger.   Davep's gynecologist told him we're getting Judge.

Actually Morosi said he’d be “surprised if the Jays don’t sign Bellinger (or Nimmo)”.

That’s not a factual report of somebody close to signing. That’s an opinion.

If he said he’d be surprised if Cubs don’t sign one of the SSs, would that mean Cubs are close to signing one?

Maybe think about what’s missing in your life that causes you to act like this in a public forum?  Just a thought.

Joel Sherman @Joelsherman1
As @JSalisburyNBCS 1st reported, Bryce Harper had Tommy John surgery today. It was done by Dr. Neal ElAttrache. The expectation is that he will begin hitting five months -- for the 2nd straight year it will benefit the Phillies with their biggest star that the NL adopted the DH.

So that means he'll miss at least a month or two next season.
