Amazingly, Orioles are 91-52 and only 2 1/2 games behind the Braves for best record in the majors.

The 2021 Orioles lost 110 games.

I think that's a case of a team who took their foot off the gas after clinching the division earlier in the week.

It must just be that time of year for top teams. The Astros lost consecutive series to the A's and Royals this week and were outscored 24-12 in the four losses.
