Astros pen is looking a lot like the Cubs pen.

We should get him for the Cubs.  He's 0-10 in close out games so he's due.

The Cubs don't need Dusty's pitching coach, Mike Maddux, or his hitting coach, Rick Schu.

But it would be nice if they could find a spot for Davey Lopes.

Jon Heyman thinks the Nats "diminished themselves" and "look nothing short of ridiculous" by firing Dusty.

You don't think Altuve can keep making it look easy but he does.

The Astros take care of business in Game 7.

Should be a good World Series.

If the Yankees had won, I would have rooted for LA, but now I can root for Houston.  They've been in a World Series but never won one, right?

They never have, and one of their stars looked foolish mocking the Cubs around 2003 or so when he said, "When was the last time they won the World Series? It was a lot longer ago than us," or something like that, and he was unaware that the Astros had never, ever won one.

So it's safe to root for them now, now that we finally got another one.

Recentism, and the playoffs often have a collection of VERY good teams.  But this is two years straight were it doesn't really seem to be a total "crapshoot" or "lottery" in the playoffs.

AL and NL each had two teams that really separated from the league; both leagues has one of their two super-teams reach the WS.

Flip is that when considering how good Houston and Cleveland were or could be in the AL, don't think anybody built super-team expectations on the possibility of starting Charlie Morton in a game 7.

Craig, if you are able to get your starting pitching lined up for a seven game series, your #3 starter is going to start Game 7, unless someone goes on short rest.
