Wow, I guess this works!  Thanks br!  I learned a new skill today!

Yeah, I had no idea that happened until I made the post last night. I searched the support forum last night and it looks like Create A Forum has been embedding Instagram posts since 2016, so I'm surprised we haven't figured it out before.

It's weird that they still don't embed Twitter, though. That seems like a standard feature across the internet now.

Yeah that is surprising.  Seems like if they can do Instagram posts and YouTube videos, embedding a Twitter post should be a piece of cake.

I've heard some things about Cody Bellinger and Charlie Blackmon wanting to opt out this year.

They're not necessarily wanting to opt out of playing in MLB this year, mind you.  They just want to opt out of being stuck having to be Red Hornets.
Dumb culturally naive question here! :( :( .  What would it mean for Charlie to be a Red Hornet, and why might he not want to be one?

JR is misbehaving again.  Off his meds.  He can't tell reality from fantansy.  Red Hornets is my fantasy team in the BBFL.  JR is the village idiot in Nashville, TN.

Admittedly I sometimes have trouble telling reality from fantasy, but I can always tell the difference between reality and "fantansy" or whatever gibberish you were trying to spell out there.

I was merely trying to find a word to describe your world, JR.  Sorry.

Alden Gonzalez  @Alden_Gonzalez  2h
The A's announced that fans can pay to have their cutouts at home games this season, with prices ranging from $49 to $129. The most expensive gets you a baseball if a foul ball hits your cutout. Proceeds go to local charities.

I can't believe they're seriously talking about putting a runner on second base in extra innings.

This is worse than the DH, the three-batter minimum; everything.  You can't just put people on the bases without someone earning his way there!

The purpose of this abomination is to prevent lengthy games during the pandemic.  I'd much prefer a twelve inning tie.

So now, every inning a lamebrain manager will bunt the guy to third where he will die.

I wonder if they're going to do the "runner on second in extras" thing during the postseason?  I get it for keeping regular season games short during the pandemic, but surely World Series games won't be using that, right?

By the way, today is Bobby Bonilla Day!

Maybe the Mets should add Bonilla to their taxi squad and get some use out of him.

Goes back to normal during the playoffs I believe.

Only 15 more years.
