Byron Buxton inside-the-park-homer on overruled Monday night so he hits another Tuesday night

Quite the play by Eloy.  Whiffs on the drive, and then didn't elect to pick up the ball.  Weird.

Byron Buxton is finally turning into the star player status that has been expected of him for a long time.  He's staying in the lineup a lot more often since he learned that the warning track means he's nearing a fence.

Buxton is funny, 26K-9HR-1BB.

.798 OPS, .242 BA, .255 OBP.

Molina gets called for catcher's interference (3rd time since 2004), and the Cardinals think Braun did it on purpose...wow

From my view, the ball was not stuck under the mat.  It should have been a homer.  Not Buxton's fault.

Braun?  Not Braun.  He would never cheat.

Looks to me that if Braun did it on purpose, he didn't have to try hard.  Molina has the glove in the swing zone.

Disagree.  Braun was reaching for an outside pitch and Molina's mitt was quite a ways forward.

There may have been an incident that preceded this one that set the stage for the dispute.

Can someone explain to me how May didn’t get the W in the Dodgers game?

heh.  Khalarik was the pitcher of record when the Dodgers took the lead.  Oddity is that if he had started the game, he would not have gotten the W.
