ha ha Dave I admit I had a rough year. Happens when your best pitcher dies and you have 6 or 7 keepers basically do little or nothing for you. Yes I'm talking about Jorge Soler and his 30 pts.  Thought KC would do him some good.

"I realize I'm probably being nitpicky but I have always thought before now that, while the circle might be tough, it is was generally fair to everyone.  But it seems unfair to hold dev to letter of the law on tseng and bend them for Rob.  Heck, they are usually not bent at all which is why I was so surprised. "  Apples and oranges.  The rules clearly state that if a minor leaguer is used as an SP all year, he must be an SP when he comes to the majors.  No room for real discussion and the Circle was unanimous.  The Miguel Cabrera situation was totally different and again the rule operated as it's supposed to.  If a MLB team has an injured player and is refusing to DL him, but there is clear indication he won't play again, we will NOT penalize our owners.  We would do the same for YOU.

As a coach I hated hated hated it when a parent came to me with "I think my little Johnny should play more" when I had just reached that conclusion myself.  It meant poor Johnny was going to sit more because if it looked like a parent could bully me into playing their kid, my life would be hell.   There's a point to my story.  I was ready to rule in your favor, Ray, but, you know what, now you f'king stew awhile.  The guys in the Circle try to bend over backwards to be fair.  I know for a fact that every damb one of them has at some point screwed themselves rather than to appear to be unfair.  We may make mistakes, but we don't favor anybody.

Enough for now before I say something I'll regret.

At present, I will concern myself in how to deal with CBS so it doesn't skip points.

Looking at all angles, in an effort to come to the FAIREST outcome, we are cruising into unfair territory.  It is the responsibility of each owner to monitor his points on a regular basis.  As Commissioner, I will take the blame for not reminding owners more often to do so to make sure they were credited properly.  I apologize for tainting the season's end by trying to guarantee we had the "right" result; I shouldn't have.  The Circle is discussing ways to prevent this in the future in how we act on requested moves.

We take into consideration that as often as CBS fails to register a change soon enough to GAIN points, it often fails to register soon enough for an owner to actually LOSE points.  It comes close to balancing in the long run.

Robb, you ran a great race.  Congrats on a good year.  The irony is, if you hadn't made the Vargas move the day before, you would have won.  Good example of how getting the move done can screw you.

The Circle declares Ray the Champion of the 2017 season as he earned it.  Congrats, Ray.  Sorry I interrupted your celebration.  My intentions were pure.  :)

Ray, congrats.

Great season to all.

Couldn't put that better.  Great season by both of you guys.  Unofficially may as well be co-champions.

Stupid Jason Vargas.

Just saw this.  Probably the reason why I lost was thinking he was going to turn it around.  I took like 6 straight losses from him.

So we can make trades now or do we wait until after the WS?

The only allowable trade at this point is giving Smurf a 1st round pick for Isringhausen. :)

I think everyone has to get their roster back to the roster limit before trades can happen... drop those DL players (or their replacements)!

By the way, I need to drop Mike Minor as part of my Woodruff claim.  Thanks!

Activating Tulo and Tomas from the DL.

I'll drop Reyes and Span.  Move Phillips to CI and put Tulo at MI and Tomas in Span's spot.

Also release Jason (Cost me the championship)Vargas and move Iwakuma into that spot. That should put my team in the legal category for now.
