Looking at it again, I think our scoring system is OK...

There's not a lot of difference between Mills' game and Keller's.

Clevinger's score is a product of this f'd up season. Take away his CG and shutout points, and it's where it should be...

If these 7 inning DH's are going to become a regular thing (let's hope not!), we'll need to come up with something else...

Is it possible on CBS (or any fantasy platform) to spread out the complete game and shutout points over the last three innings? So instead of 5 points for a CG and 10 points for a SO, you award those points this way:
 - 2 bonus points for finishing the 7th
 - 3 bonus points for finishing the 8th
 - 5 bonus points for finishing the 9th
 - 5 bonus points for throwing a shutout

Since managers only expect 5-6 innings out of most pitchers and complete games are almost non-existent, it just seems like that would be a more accurate way to score in the current game. Right now, the difference between a 6 inning start and an 8 inning start is 2 points. That seems low, because that's a pretty huge difference in real life.

In general, high scoring starting pitcher categories in fantasy just don't accurately capture how starters are used in 2020 (with quality starts being the one exception).

That would be a nice feature in this day and age. I don't think any platform has a setup like that, though.

It makes a lot of sense.

Innings pitched points could be beefed up and result in the same bump. How much more valuable in today's game is a CG than a five inning win with 8 k's? You decide, but if I was a manager it wouldn't even be close and imo fantasy points could/should reflect that. And k's are nice but bb's are more devastating so the equal distribution of 1/1 on k's and bb's is out of whack as well.

If it stays the same it doesn't really matter to me, I'm just pointing out the inequity of one guy going 7 and another going 9 and getting basically the same points for it. Maybe for the owners next year it is something to look at. Like I said, doesn't matter to me.

Shirtballs activate Jose Altuve from the IL, drop Kole Calhoun to make space.

Also activate and release Oliver Drake.

Also, I still have minor league C Oliver Perez showing up in my lineup and he needs to be dropped.
