So that's why you never responded to my Trout/Bregman for a 5th rounder offer.  Well I already took it back, so I guess it's too late now.  What a pity...
I 'll give you my first for Trout but Bregman is cheater.

In the spirit of attempts in the past of excluding Cardinals from our league, I propose BBFL ban the players on the 2017 Houston Astros  post season roster....<ducks>

I still think we should ban Cardinals.

It makes for a fun twist...and really, who loses anyone of any great value at this point?

Aren't you the only one that actually drafts them though?

Could just allow teams to keep Cardinals in 2020 if they want but ban them in the 2020 draft and then completely ban them in 2021.

A fourth of our owners aren't Cub fans.  How would we compensate the guys who own Goldsxhmidt and Mikalous and Flaherty?

Actually having some kind of grandfather rule for Cardinals keepers might not be a horrible idea.  I mean if you had a player get traded midseason to the Cardinals, would you have to drop them right away?  Or if you had a star long term keeper get traded to the Cardinals (e.g. Jose Altuve since the Cardinals aren't beyond trading for cheaters), that'd kind of suck if you had to drop them right away or drop them immediately after the season.

Maybe having a one year grandfather rule (or be allowed to keep someone indefinitely) if you have a Cardinal keeper or a player traded to the Cardinals might be a good idea to help with the transition, although I guess it would take away from having a Cardinal stench-free fantasy league.

Easy way to do it, just ban Cardinals in the major league draft, minor league draft, and from the waiver pool, and ban them if a team drops out of the league and has some still on their roster.

You'll still have an occasional Cardinal slip through because they sadly got traded to that god forsaken rathole city and the teams that might want to keep Goldschmidt or Flaherty, but at least we're still keeping most of them out.

And what about Cardinals who get traded to the rest of the league?

It's discriminatory to ban Cardinals.  The Astros on the other hand cheated, like the 1919 White Sox.  And as bad as people say they are, they made the playoffs last year, unlike the Cubs, although they collapsed in the playoffs.
