In the end, I don't know that there's much difference in where you fall in the replacement draft. There are already 400 major leaguers on rosters. There are some pretty decent starting pitchers left on the wire, but I don't think there's a single position player or RP left who really sticks out. I'm just looking for LIAB replacements for Diaz and Altuve no matter where I pick.
Looking at the players left on the board, I do wonder if we should consider making the one or both of the UT spots open to anyone (pitcher or hitter) next year. According to Fantrax projections, the top 8 (and 13 of the top 19) available players are all SP. It seems like it would make the pool more interesting if the available players were a little more balanced.
