I am so brilliant.  It is no wonder people like JR worship me.

JR tried all winter to dump Happ for a minor upgrade.  I didn't bite.  When it came time to declare 13, Steele was #14.  I cut him.  That's how smart I am.

Then, yesterday, my wife and I traveled up toward Chicago to a resort to use a free week we had.  We were going to watch the Cubs game today on my laptop.  Heh.  Doesn't work when you get too close to the blackout zone.  Crap.

Remember if you don't do the move on Fantrax to let Boris or I know.  When moves start to happen more frequently it will get missed if you don't tell us.

Also minor leaguers that made the roster have 7 days to be promoted before they are released.

The Brats place AJ Pollock on the IL and sign Jurickson Profar to replace.

Well the injuries are already starting to take hold.  The Brats place David Fletcher on the IL.  I'd like to request permission to sign Santiago Espinal as a 2B or MI.  All four games he's played so far this season have been at 2B.

I changed his eligibility. He’s played MI before in previous seasons.

Max Stassi has an extra negative point too tonight. I think I figured it out, and it's a problem with the league settings. I think instead of CS being worth -1 for baserunners, the league is set up with caught stealing against as being worth -1 point for catchers. Stassi and Stephenson have each caught runners stealing tonight, and they appear to have negative points for that.

This is probably my team's worst day since I've been part of this league, by the way.

What the heck?  I’ll have to talk to Fantrax. I can manually adjust points as well.

Got it changed. I’ll try and look at the points over lunch tomorrow to make sure all the points have updated for all catchers.

Related...since we now know that caught stealing against is a category on Fangraphs, maybe we should consider making it worth a couple points next year. That could slightly reduce the points gaps between catchers and all other position players.

Put it in the Winter Meeting topic. I really want to have a lot of debate about scoring and how pitchers are handled. The game has changed a lot since this league was established and even more in the last years. We need to keep up with it.
