Dang!  Our Mackenzie Gore and Sixto Sanchez for Trevor Bauer deal turned out to be a huge impact deal for both of us.

My memory is that I offered to take Bauer off your hands too.

Actually I plan on keeping Gore if I can't trade him.

You did indeed offer to take Bauer back last year but it was for something like a 1 round draft swap which didn’t move the needle much. It was worth rolling the dice.

Now that the Dodgers released him (but he still has a contract) is he a BBFL free agent or does he still remain on my team?  I guess he is the same as Hosmer was prior to the Cubs signing him. Still under contract so technically I can keep him if I want to do so. Correct?

Anytime any club can sign a player, he's a free agent and you lose him.

If a player gets DFA'd I believe the only time you get to keep them is if the are traded.  If they get waived or go unclaimed and reassigned to the minors they are waived in the fantasy league.

Guys, it's time to give Joe some help here.  Get your a$$e$ to this topic, start voting on stuff so that he knows how to set things up.  Dave or somebody run the lottery.  If I understand correctly, we need one new, maybe two new, owners.  Recruit.  Just make sure they're smarter than JR.  Get the lead out.

If anyone wants to start talking trades, the Shirtballs are looking for a shortstop. Since four shortstops will be available in the top 8-10 picks of the draft, I'm curious if there might be a team or two in the lottery zone who might be open to trading their current SS.

I'm willing to offer Schwarber (or Springer if you prefer him) plus another player for the right guy. Or if you have some depth at the position, I'd also be interested in keeper-worthy shortstops who won't cost as much.

When will we know the draft order?  I would want to know my draft spot prior to thinking about moving anyone or a draft pick.
