Well Curt, you should never have responded to that email about your distant cousin in Nigeria wanting to put $50K in your Paypal account.

No problem Dave!  I've always been a big fan of Shawon, and I thought he'd be a great one for us to sponsor.

That's odd.  The Nashville Police Dept has a private number.  I'll have to email their fraud division.

Advertising Cardinal tickets from cardinals.com on a Cubs' forum struck me as extremely weird. But I suppose there are some Chicago-area fans who might be planning a road trip to St. Louis.

Since we have the #2 overall pick, it may not be a bad idea to go ahead and get a 2013 Draft topic going early.  Granted there's not really any better place for people to talk about the draft right now, but I think Around Baseball needs to focus on what's going on in MLB and not the draft.

Scoopie Spam Time:

Time to sign up for the ESPN Fantasy Baseball Challenge.  I set this year's group to weekly, not daily, for easier maintenance.

In addition to the previous post about the Baseball Challenge:

"In 2013, however, there's a new wrinkle. For the first time, a floating salary cap is being introduced to Baseball Challenge. This time around, when a player's salary increases, your salary cap increases along with it. You can then use the extra funds to bulk up the rest of your lineup. Needless to say, locking in productive bargains early in the season (and hopefully watching their salaries skyrocket) is now more important than ever."
