The day of the Schiano stuff I read it and then came here and bitched about it and then went to work and got an ESPN alert saying they backed out of it because of fan backlash.

I wasnt burning mattresses and protesting.

It'd be awful hard to hate on that hire especially if we get Tee Martin too.

By the way, how is it Arkansas's final candidate list is better than Tennessee's?

Its about to the point with Alabama DC Jeremy Pruitt that he's either gonna turn us down or have a press conference.

One if the best recruiters in the country and best defensive coordinators too.

They need to go ahead and seal the deal on that.  If Steele and Tucker are the only other options, Pruitt is by light years far and away the best choice.  He’d be a terrific hire.

Tennessee has offered the job to Alabama DC Jeremy Pruitt. The parties are discussing details tonight. A potential hang up is whether Pruitt would be allowed to coach Alabama in the college football playoffs.
