Wow, the Titans finally made a bold move for the first time I can ever remember.  Way to finally not settle for being a Quadruple-A pro football team anymore!

Does the NFL have their equivalent of Sabermetrics?  I like to see some stats on just how well prevent defenses work at the end of a game.

The Vikings went into a prevent defense and easily allowed the New Orleans drive that resulted in a Saints field goal with 17 seconds left that gave them a 24-23 lead.

Then the Saints returned the favor by having Marcus Williams playing very deep which allowed Stephon Diggs to catch Case Keenum's pass.  Williams then missed what should have been an easy tackle.  Some reports I've seen say Williams held up at the last second so he wouldn't hit Diggs too soon and be penalized.

I feel bad for Williams.  You know they were telling him "don't draw a PI call," because if he gets hit with one it's a spot foul in field goal range, and he's the goat.  If he holds up and tackles Diggs, he's the hero, but it was bang-bang with a little bit of pressure.

The Vikings kicked the go-ahead field goal with 1:29 to play, and I said "too much time.  It's an eternity for Brees."  There was zero question in my mind that Brees could easily drive into field goal range, even against a terrific Vikings defense.  At least they made him convert on 4th down.  Saints clock management wasn't good, either.  Running at Linval Joseph on 3rd and 1, when a first down ends the game, wasn't smart.

For many years, I found similarities in being a Cubs fan and being a Vikings fan in terms of crushing, did-that-really-happen defeats.  Hoping for an analogous positive finish to the football season.

I'd like to see them be the home team in the Super Bowl.  I wonder what the fan makeup of that game would be.

And a game cannot end on a defensive penalty.

Was it Troy Aikman who said the pass interference penalty is too harsh in some cases?    15 yards might be the way to go.

I'd like to count how many times Aikman says the words "he" or "they" during a game.

Sentences that begin with

Keenum, he passed.
The officials, they called
Brees, he completed
Newton, he ran
Diggs, he caught

are beginning to get to me.  English, standard please

I once saw Jim Breuer l, one of the guests on the cruise, at the Top of World Longue at Disney World. I quite intoxicated and my wife had to convince yelling Wolf Boy at him wasn’t a good idea.

Ive never been on a cruise.

I dread this more than you might think.

Do you get sea sick?

Is it safe for kids?

Some people get seasick, some don't.  I have a sister who loses it standing on a dock looking at the waves.

Considering the type of cruise it is, you probably won't have to put on a coat and tie for your dinner with the captain.
