I liked seeing Alabama lose.  I didn't care it was Tennessee.

As a Michigan fan, I agree.

Ole Miss is now atop the standings in the SEC West, so I have to like that.

That said, my favorite teams every weekend are Ole Miss and whoever plays Tennessee, so…I have to hate it.

Some serious Bullshltting going on with Lavine.  They insist he's not injured but is being held out of the opener for "knee injury management".  Why play him in three preseason games and hold him out of the regular season?

If he's limited in the same way he was limited the last few months of last season the Bulls are toast.

To be fair, they were probably toast anyway.

I understand giving Lavine the max extension, even though he’s not really a max extension player.  But if his knee is never going to be right, that could wind up as an unmitigated disaster for a franchise whose long-term prospects were already pretty grim.

Leave it to the Bulls to somehow win in Miami with no Lavine or Ball.

DeRozan and DoSunmu lead the way. Dragic hurt his old team too.

Shocking.  The Heat did not look ready to play for whatever reason.

True, but that was still a hell of an effort by the Bulls.  DeRozan is still ridiculous of course but the bench could be significantly improved.

I thought Ayo was terrific.  DeRozan was great but I worry about keeping him fresh for later in the season particularly with questions about LaVine's availability.  Caruso needs to take better care of the ball.

It's a shame Caruso is such a rotten offensive player because everything else is great.

Drummond may prove to be a pleasant surprise.

Zach looks OK, but the Bulls just don't have enough shooting.  As predicted, and not addressed.

Cleveland is a mid-tier team in the East, without Garland.  But they're much bigger than the Bulls, and shoot much better.  That's a bad combination.  When you're small and don't shoot 3s, your margin of error is pretty tiny.
