Asik is useful but has nowhere near Noah's skill set.  Noah is a better rebounder, as good a help defender, can switch to smaller players, can hit an occasional outside jumper, shoots free throws at a better rate by far, is a much better passer (probably top two in the NBA at center) can fill the lane better and oh yeah, HE CAN ACTUALLY CATCH THE BALL.  I loved Asik while he was here but he isn't anywhere near as skilled or as valuable as Noah.  About the only edge I give Asik is as a shot blocker.

Houston liked Asik so much they signed Dwight Howard.

I don't buy that Asik is the better player, but his rebounding rate last year was better than any in Noah's career.

Total rebounds doesn't mean better.  Remember Noah has Bolder and Gibson alongside who are great rebounders.  That will depress Noah's numbers.

Asik averaged more rebounds and only about 1.5 PPG less than Noah despite playing about 7 less minutes per game last year, and despite the fact that the Bulls were one of the worst offensive teams in the league.  Noah is a better passer but I don't think there's another area of the game where he's all that much better than Asik.  And Asik is a far superior rebounder and defender.

Bulls may not be challenging the Heat this season.  Big surprise.

Wait until the Cardinals win the last two at Fenway.

The Bulls are still awful talented.

They're easily a 55 to 60 win team.

Well Boozer had a big game offensively, and Butler was great. Deng and Rose stunk it up. Noah isn't ready yet physically.
