I'm at the point where I think the Bears should make an effort to draft Manziel.

I'd kind of would like to see the Titans wind up with McCarron, myself.

I like McCarron too. Not sure if he can be elite though.

Interesting analysis of Rose's problems so far:

The problem is that the Bulls don't really have a lot of other scoring options to take the pressure off Rose unless they're willing to heavily use Boozer in the post, which they're not.  Boozer is the only other frontline offensive player on the roster, pretty much, and he can't be that without a lot of help the Bulls and Rose aren't willing to give him during crunch time (if he's even on the floor).

Rogers was a big-time pro prospect, a 1st-round talent. McCarron isn't considered to be anywhere near that at the moment. A better potential comparison would be Brady.

Rogers was expected to go early first round.  He was sitting there.  Awkwardly.  Worked out well for him in the end, though.

AJ has great accuracy. makes good decisions... getting him late in the first would be a lot better then going after a system QB like mariota who will probably go in the top 5.

Bulls getting short-sleeve jerseys for Christmas

Tribune report - 1:44 p.m. CST, November 14, 2013

What does the NBA have up its sleeve for Christmas Day? It's a present that fans with a taste for tradition just might want to return.

Special "Big Logo" uniforms will be worn by the Bulls and the other nine teams that will be playing on the holiday. Designed by Adidas, the uniforms "feature team logos in reflective chrome as the focal point on the short-sleeve jerseys."

Yep, short-sleeve jerseys, as modeled by Derrick Rose and other stars in the league's ad campaign.

The NBA also  is publicizing the roll-out with a TV commerical titled “Jingle Hoops” that features Rose, the Heat’s LeBron James, the Thunder’s Kevin Durant, the Rockets’ James Harden, the Lakers’ Steve Nash and the Warriors’ Stephen Curry -- all in short sleeves -- hitting choreographed three-pointers to the tune of “One-horse Open Sleigh.”

The Bulls will open the day's slate of five NBA games at 11 a.m. CT against the Brooklyn Nets. The new NBA gear is available for purchase by fans beginning today.

This Bulls team sucks. What a garbage performance tonight as they blow a 21-point lead.

Rose hurt his leg again. How long will he be out this time? Maybe it's time to say goodbye to Paxson. This team has really no good players, especially on the bench these days.

Probably be looking for a new head coach after this failure of a season is over with. If Mike Dunleavy is your big move of the offseason, you know you will be in for a long year.
