Bulls getting short-sleeve jerseys for Christmas Tribune report - 1:44 p.m. CST, November 14, 2013What does the NBA have up its sleeve for Christmas Day? It's a present that fans with a taste for tradition just might want to return.
Special "Big Logo" uniforms will be worn by the Bulls and the other nine teams that will be playing on the holiday. Designed by Adidas, the uniforms "feature team logos in reflective chrome as the focal point on the short-sleeve jerseys."
Yep, short-sleeve jerseys, as modeled by Derrick Rose and other stars in the league's ad campaign.
The NBA also is publicizing the roll-out with a TV commerical titled “Jingle Hoops” that features Rose, the Heat’s LeBron James, the Thunder’s Kevin Durant, the Rockets’ James Harden, the Lakers’ Steve Nash and the Warriors’ Stephen Curry -- all in short sleeves -- hitting choreographed three-pointers to the tune of “One-horse Open Sleigh.”
The Bulls will open the day's slate of five NBA games at 11 a.m. CT against the Brooklyn Nets. The new NBA gear is available for purchase by fans beginning today.
