I'm sure CurtOne had a happy day today with Bo Pelini being shown the door.

Can't imagine a more entertaining Tuesday-night, early-season NBA game. That was fun, despite the outcome.

Thank goodness. I watched the Bulls-Warriors game with my wife (a Warrior fan) last night and it was brutal.

Holy crap. I was just looking at the list of bowl games and the participants. At least half those teams don't deserve to go bowling and a third of the bowls shouldn't exist. Pathetic. Extraordinary year that would have justified an 8 team playoff rather than just 4, but some years you won't even have 4 deserving teams so...oh well.

A lot of that can be blamed on ESPN. They own and created 11 of these bowl games on their own.

I also think it's amusing to see some of the third rate companies that are sponsoring a lot of these bowl games. Royal Purple Bowl? Quick Lane Bowl? Duck Commander? Foster Farms Bowl? TaxSlayer Bowl?
Bitcoin sponsors a bowl, and there's so much sleaziness that goes on with that company. That's even one of the ESPN owned bowl games, and they have Bitcoin sponsoring it? That's about as desperate as it gets.

Of course, I think college football is a pretty sleazy business to begin with, so it shouldn't be surprising that they have to make cash grabs from some of these oddball outfits sponsoring their bowl games.

Hasn't Bickell tended to raise the level of his game during the postseason? That's definitely worth something! Plus, he's one of the few B'Hawks that can lay some lumber on the opposition.

for this recent run of dominance for the Hawks, where they've grabbed first place in their division, Richards *has* been the second line center with Kane and Versteeg and they've been the 'Hawks' best line.
