Poor kids from Chicago?

I say Poor kids from Vegas.  They got cheated out of a chance of playing for the World Title.  They got cheated out of chance to meet the Prez.  They got cheated out of trips to DC.

The administrators, coaches and parents of the Chicago team are shameless.  They knew what they were doing was wrong and they did it anyway.

I think they are just disgusting.  I also find it apalling that some people defend it.  "Oh it was only stretching the limits by a few miles.  They shouldn't be punished for that.  Who cares if the footballs were deflated it had no outcome on the game."  Rules are rules.  They are made for reasons.  You break them you not only hurt your team but you take away from others and damage the game.

It seems only one poster is not really bothered at all by the Little League team that cheating.  Not surprising.

"They got cheated out of chance to meet the Prez."

Why are you listing perks with the downers?

Yeah.  I almost put a disclaimer with that one.  No matter who holds the office though, it's still cool to meet the President of the United States of America..

Blackhawks seem to be in "throw sh*t at the wall and see what will stick mode," as they sent down Teravainin and brought up 2013 first round pick Ryan Hartman, who I sense is like Andrew Shaw. From just after he was drafted: "Hartman is a do-it-all type player who can provide significant two-way value despite being a tad undersized, at around 5'11". He is smart, and he makes creative plays in both puck handling and passing. He is a very aware defensive player...This S.O.B. is one miserable [player] to play against! Industrial strength abrasive and is always disturbing the peace--usually after the whistle--and gets opponents off their game and under their skin." (taken from two different reports that I combined)

These nights when Rose plays like he played tonight are, at the very least, a lot of fun.

The Bulls beat Cleveland for the first time in three tries, yet are 9-10 over their last 19 games, and that would be worse had Orlando not handed them a win on Sunday.

Jiggs is apparently so happy with that trend that he boats every time they win now.

Poor kids from Chicago?

I say Poor kids from Vegas.

....and the poor kids from the Tri-Cities Little League from West Dundee, IL who lost the championship game of the Illinois State Tournament to JRW and were deprived of their chance to compete in the Great Lakes Region;

....and the kids from New Albany, Indiana who lost the championship game of the Great Lakes Region and didn't get their deserved chance to compete in the Little League Tournament in Williamsport, PA.

There's also the kids from Rosemoor LL, the 2nd place team from IL District 4, who didn't get to compete the IL Section 3 Tournament

....and the IL Section 3 Tournament runner-up, Lansing (IL) LL,  who didn't get their deserved chance to compete in the Illinois State Tournament.

All because the adults associated with JRW cheated (especially their League President & League Player Agent who are both responsible for making sure the players lived within their approved league boundaries and are required to sign a legal document to that effect) with the help from their IL District 4 Administrator who has long time ties to the JRW program.  The District Administrator also signs off that they have verified all of the residency documentation is accurate.

As someone who spent 10 years involved with Little LeagueŽ as both a local board member and a District board member,  I quickly found that the worst thing about youth sports is the adults who try to manipulate the system to their own benefit.
