Poor kids from Chicago?
I say Poor kids from Vegas.
....and the poor kids from the Tri-Cities Little League from West Dundee, IL who lost the championship game of the Illinois State Tournament to JRW and were deprived of their chance to compete in the Great Lakes Region;
....and the kids from New Albany, Indiana who lost the championship game of the Great Lakes Region and didn't get their deserved chance to compete in the Little League Tournament in Williamsport, PA.
There's also the kids from Rosemoor LL, the 2nd place team from IL District 4, who didn't get to compete the IL Section 3 Tournament
....and the IL Section 3 Tournament runner-up, Lansing (IL) LL, who didn't get their deserved chance to compete in the Illinois State Tournament.
All because the adults associated with JRW cheated (especially their League President & League Player Agent who are both responsible for making sure the players lived within their approved league boundaries and are required to sign a legal document to that effect) with the help from their IL District 4 Administrator who has long time ties to the JRW program. The District Administrator also signs off that they have verified all of the residency documentation is accurate.
As someone who spent 10 years involved with Little LeagueŽ as both a local board member and a District board member, I quickly found that the worst thing about youth sports is the adults who try to manipulate the system to their own benefit.
